I love being the advice giver!

Whenever anyone in my family or circle of friends, or even my 200 Facebook friends, which includes high school classmates, writers group members, message board friends, and even kids I went to kindergarten with, is planning a trip to Disney, or even thinking about it, they call or email me! I love love love being the one they can turn to for great advice on all things Disney!

I've been told I should become a travel agent or something. But I think that would take the fun out of it!! But, I'd actually get paid for the advice I give. Honestly though, it's more of a privilege for me to help people plan! No payment necessary!! And I LOVE having someone come home from the trip and tell me how much my advice helped. And how they weren't real sure of even going to begin with, but now they love it and can't wait to go back!

Another reason for starting this blog was so I can have all my advice documented...maybe save myself some keystrokes from having to type the same emails over and over! LOL!

  1. My younger daughter was selected to be part of THE-Orlando (an acting/modeling showcase thing that takes place at the Dolphin and Swan). I am going along with my sixteen-year-old daughter and my mother. I know that the little one will be very busy with events throughout the day, but I'd like to squeeze in a few Disney moments. Any suggestions?

  5. Although I am not a disney fan, I will have to go at some point with Nolan---it is a rite of passage for a child---unless I can convince cousin Stephanie to take him along on their family trip (wink wink). Why am I not a fan: I do not like amusement rides and I am not a character fan.

I did go there once and LOVED the water park things but again---I am keeping an OPEN MIND and learning about it because I know in a few years I will be going and want to enjoy the trip.

  6. The great thing about Disney though is so many of their rides are not really rides...that's why they're called attractions and it's more like a story come to life. Look at Pirates of the Caribbean. It's one of my favs, but the actual ride part is a boat that slowly floats through a river with one tiny drop. It's everything else going on around it that makes it so great!

Yes, there are some thrill rides, but I can count them on one hand. Disney is designed for families to enjoy everything together. And the shows are outstanding Broadway quality shows.

And I'm sure Auntie Michelle would love to take Nolan someday!
